Project & Portfolio I: Personal Branding
Overview & Objectives
In Portfolio I, students discover, create, and show off their professional brand identity. Students are focused in creating a digital portfolio website that becomes the base for all their projects throughout their program at Full Sail University. By the end, the students will have a digital space to showcase their work and make their brand more appealing to employers and industry pros.
What I Learned
I found and shaped my brand by studying my industry, looking at competitors, and understanding job requirements. I focused on improving specific skills and created a plan for professional growth. I was able to identify my target audience, crafting my brand promise with them on my mind, and I created a personal video to clearly share my unique value.
Skills & Software
I opted for Keynote to develop my Personal Brand Exploration presentation, adding my brand color palette and fonts following helpful YouTube tutorials. The content is a blend of personal images, and research gathered from LinkedIn, coupled with music industry articles I discovered while searching on Google. Once completed, I downloaded the presentation as a PDF and uploaded it to my SlideShare account for the public to view.
Time
It took me approximately 10 hours to complete my final project with an additional 10 hours dedicated to course readings, LinkedIn learning certifications, our live meeting, and online research.
