Strategic Artist Marketing Plan for Nessa Rodriguez
Project Description:
As part of a group project for the Artist Management course, we developed a comprehensive 3-month, 6-month, and 1-year marketing strategy for emerging Colombian-born Latin urban artist Nessa Rodriguez. Our analysis included her current artist development stage, target demographics, psychographics, audience benefits, comparable artists, and the creation of a tailored SMART goal. I led the team by organizing and scheduling Zoom meetings, facilitating collaboration, and ensuring the workflow stayed on track. Research responsibilities were divided among team members, and once the research was complete, one member recorded the narration while I took the lead on visual direction, designing the slides in Canva Pro, and building the final visual presentation in Keynote.

Research & Presentation: The Rise and Fall of Lou Pearlman
For this individual project, I conducted in-depth research and analysis on one of the most iconic yet controversial artist managers in music history, Lou Pearlman. My exploration included viewing documentaries, studying archival interviews, and reviewing articles to understand both his influence in launching major pop acts and the scandals that followed. I crafted an audio-visual presentation to reflect both the impact and complexity of his legacy. I designed all visual slides and elements using Canva Pro, recorded my voiceover using DJI Lavalier microphones, and edited the full presentation in CapCut Pro.
